After World War II, communities all over America began to realize that housing was in short supply. As the Bloomington/Normal area began to grow, so did its housing needs. Orville Alexander began his career as a Real Estate Broker in 1950. As State Farm grew, as the universities expanded, as manufacturing companies moved to the Twin Cities, Orvilles experience and knowledge of the area were invaluable to new homeowners or those with growing families that needed larger homes. The Real Estate Industry has changed dramatically in the past 50 years. However, the qualities and services of a good Realtor have remained the same. Todays buyer or seller can find Real Estate properties advertised in newspapers, magazines, and more importantly, the Internet.
In 1969, Orvilles son, Dennis, graduated from Southern Illinois University after serving in the US Army, he returned to his home town, Bloomington, IL, to follow his fathers footsteps and become a Real Estate Broker. With his dad as his mentor and through schooling and experiences he has become well versed in all aspects of the Real Estate business. Through Dennis, Orvilles belief in excellent customer service lives on.
